We have two common rooms (aka JCR’s); South and Hall. Each is a relaxed communal space for all undergraduates to enjoy though each has its own distinct character.
Hall JCR, downstairs in Hall building, is home to our student run bar and the Buttery. When the Buttery is closed there are vending machines for hot and cold drinks, snacks as well as a drinks vending machine in Wolfson (a life saver during late night essay crises). Hall JCR also has a pool table, TV and newly fixed Jukebox. Easy to find, just go down the stairs as you enter Hall Building. Location of JCR meetings, the End of Term Party, and many other fun events. It's a great place to start a night out or to hove a chat with the staff and catch up on the news via the large selection newspaper that the JCR has subscriptions for.

Easy to find, ground floor of South Building, under the stairs, by the pay phones. South JCR is primarily a TV room with a TV, VCR and DVD player as well as sofa’s and chairs. You can book this out to watch a particular programme or a DVD.
