We have a good recycling scheme (paper, cans and glass are recycled) in the kitchens and communal areas. We use recycled paper in the Library and IT rooms, and disposed paper is recycled as well. We also have a recycling box for stamps in the Porter's Lodge. For recycling things like cardboard, there are large recycling bins to the left hand side of Hall building (if you are coming from the porters lodge). St Hilda's is however keen to get even more environmentally friendly this coming year! In order to achieve that goal, we need a 'Greenie' on each corridor to empty the recycling bins every week in exchange for a £5 bar and buttery tab each term!
