St. Hilda’s currently has two adapted accommodation rooms and two disabled parking spaces. In total, there are 37 ground floor accommodation rooms on site. There is a catered kitchen, which will accept special dietary requests. The library is accessible by both stairs and a lift. There are some access issues that we are looking to solve in the 08-09 academic year, including disabled access to our underground bar. In order to solve issues such as these, the JCR Officer, Clare Barnard, would like to establish a working group to help identify and submit proposals for areas of college life that could become more accessible. Please contact Clare if you have any complaint or query regarding disability provisions at Hilda’s, or if you’d like to become involved in improving life at Hilda’s for all.
